Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Waco, TX is seeking Processing Technicians to operate equipment for heat treating, plating, wastewater treatment, and oil waste treatment, performing quality checks and completing production documents.

The role requires safety adherence and understanding of environmental regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years’ experience, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and forklift operation ability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education
• 1–2 years’ experience in function
• Must be able to read, write, and do simple math
• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability
• Must have ability to operate a forklift

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform duties as related to the functional area, with safety and environmental procedures in mind
• Operate plating and metal finishing equipment; understand plating methods
• Read charts/graphs and follow instructions closely
• Weigh and mix chemicals accurately per instructions
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Prepare production reports and timecards as required
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
