DLS Engineering in Montgomery, Alabama, seeks a Principal Network Engineer for the on-site AFINC program at Gunter Annex. You will help design, deploy, and defend DODIN network infrastructure to support mission readiness.

Requirements include 10+ years of enterprise network experience, IAT-II and CCNP, and an Active Secret clearance; SDN experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, switches, and load balancers.
• SME in enterprise network architectures; SDN experience highly desired.
• IAT-II certification.
• CCNP certification.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aid in problem resolution or test updated configurations in lab environments.
• Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth; designs, implements, and troubleshoots complex Enterprise network solutions.
• Develops, executes and documents scripts to automate tasks and records workload activities for auditing and change management.
