Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Design Engineer for the Rocket Center, West Virginia site. The role focuses on designing components and subsystems for electronic products, coordinating layouts, and ensuring compliance with standards. On-site work with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience in developing electronic subsystems from design through qualification.
• Must be able to read drawings and schematic diagrams; knowledge of industry/military specifications; DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate on Integrated Product Teams for complex development programs.
• Develop electronic products from paper design to hardware build.
• Test and debug circuit cards and assemblies; fuzes and ISDs.
• Develop and maintain product technical data package.
• Identify and lead resolution of technical challenges.
• Organize and prioritize tasks in a demanding environment.
