Job summary

Optum On-Site in Waupaca, WI seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide full-spectrum primary care for employees and their families at the offsite Medical Clinic. The role emphasizes autonomous practice with clinical development opportunities and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certified as FNP (ANCC/AANP) or PA (NCCPA).
• CPR certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience working independently in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency or urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Wellness and preventative physical exams.
• Acute care of minor illness and injuries.
• Chronic disease management and longitudinal care.
• Minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.).
• Lifestyle and well-being counseling.
• Medical management of behavioral health conditions.
