Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for maternity leave coverage in Washington (Sept-Dec). This on-site school-based role serves a preschool caseload of about 45 students and focuses on foundational communication skills.

You will evaluate language abilities, deliver direct therapy, prepare clear reports, and collaborate with teachers and families to support early development. WA SLP license with ESA certification and early childhood experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State SLP license or eligibility and ESA certification.
• Experience in school-based settings, especially early childhood.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong background clearance and ability to meet screening standards.
• Commitment to on-site service delivery; teletherapy not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, data-informed evaluation reports and documentation.
• Evaluate speech and language abilities using formal and informal tools.
• Deliver individualized, direct speech-language therapy to preschool students.
• Track progress and maintain service records and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams to align strategies.
• Support early communication development through structured, student-centered intervention.
