Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Plant Controller for a large manufacturing plant in northwestern Indiana. This on-site role supports GAAP accounting, financial controls, and fixed asset management for the facility, reporting to plant leadership.

Key duties include general ledger oversight, cost accounting with standard vs. actual cost updates, monthly close, and performance analysis to drive the business plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field.
• 5+ years of work experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership experience in a turn-around situation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting function to deliver accurate financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger, fixed assets, and monthly close.
• Coordinate with Materials to update standard vs. actual costs.
• Develop plant operating metrics and drive performance to budget.
• Reconcile intercompany and prepare variance analyses.
