Job summary

3M Guin, located in Guin, AL, is seeking a Planning Analyst to manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring customer requirements and metrics are met. You will plan materials, schedule production, and control finished goods inventory across multiple manufacturing areas.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to hit service, cost, and inventory targets, publishing service and inventory metrics, and driving lean planning improvements in SAP-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Two (2) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production, and managing finished goods inventory for multiple manufacturing areas.
• Coordinate with other locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.
• Develop and maintain operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand.
• Provide planning analysis to support decision making.
• Publish and present service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis.
• Actively manage working and non-working inventories to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets.
• Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects.
• Support business transformation readiness activities and projects as assigned.
