Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Pipeline Operator - Associate to support safe, reliable operations and maintenance activities for gas and/or liquids pipeline systems in the Williston, North Dakota area. This on-site role offers hands-on experience and training within a collaborative operations team.

The position is based near the Williston Stateline Gathering location, with a reporting site about 30 minutes north of Williston.

Qualifications

Knowledge of cathodic protection and corrosion control.
Ability to prioritize assignments and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with basic arithmetic and field data reporting.
Safety-minded with a willingness to learn pipeline operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with operations and maintenance on compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration facilities, pumping facilities, measurement facilities, and related equipment.
Perform startup/shutdown, pigging, collecting liquids, locating lines, patrolling for leaks, and on-call duties as needed.
Monitor cathodic protection and basic pipe coatings, and ensure proper lubrication and fluids management.
Prepare reports on gas/liquid flow, maintenance logs, samples, and regulatory information.
Drive maintenance on company vehicles and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
