Desoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, administer, and direct therapies in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring practitioner to restore function and prevent disability after disease or injury.

The role involves planning therapy with exercises, mobility training, bed mobility, transfers and gait training; using equipment and prosthetic devices; documenting progress and re-assessing goals at regular intervals; on-site work

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida or eligible via the Compact State.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Minimum one year of hospital clinical experience.
• Strong documentation and billing awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a complete physical therapy evaluation for diverse patient populations.
• Develop precise, comprehensive treatment plans for others to administer.
• Administer safe, effective therapy with proper documentation.
• Reassess care plans as needed and adjust interventions.
• Operate equipment used in therapy and manage priorities.
