Job summary

The role is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day with overtime possible. It requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years of experience, and a preferred engineering or life science degree; proficiency in MS Office and GMP knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or life science is preferred.
• Must communicate effectively within the department and across functions.
• Familiarity with GMP guidelines including USP 790/1790 and 21 CFR 210/211.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of pharmaceutical products to identify defects or non-conformities.
• Ensure all inspected products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document results accurately in batch records or electronic systems.
• Maintain GDP and ensure inspection areas comply with aseptic and cleanliness standards.
• Operate and maintain inspection equipment and booths according to SOPs.
• Report defective products or process deviations to quality or production supervisors.
• Follow GMP and safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in inspection and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection areas, including gowning in all lab areas.
• This position may require local travel between company facilities within a short distance (approximately 3 miles) based on business needs.
