Job summary

Crystal Group in Iowa is seeking an Assembler, Boards to join our Operations team. Primary duties include through-hole soldering, PCB assembly, and inspection of PCBs for rugged electronic devices.

The role requires reading detailed drawings and process sheets, using microscopes and testing equipment. You will set up and operate SMT line and selective soldering equipment as needed, maintain production records, and work safely following ISO and FOD guidelines.

Qualifications

• US Person required to work on-site.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: three or more years of electronics/soldering experience.

Responsibilities

• Solder electronic components onto PCBs following drawings and instructions.
• Read/process sheets and use drawings to guide assembly.
• Conduct visual inspections and test solder joints with appropriate equipment.
• Troubleshoot soldering defects and make repairs or adjustments.
• Set up, operate, and maintain soldering machines and SMT line as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety/ISO procedures.
