Formación

• Bachelor degree as Pathologist Assistant is required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification OR meet CLIA requirements.
• Maintains continuing education for certification/licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Submit and dictate all surgical specimens for processing.
• Maintain cutting room supplies.
• Photograph specimens as designated by pathologist.
• Prepare tissue for testing (e.g., testing such as lymphoma phenotyping).
• Review manuals and stay current with procedural changes.
• Follow safety procedures and privacy policies.
