Penske Motor Group LLC in Prosper, TX is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to handle the timely shipment of goods for the Parts Department. You will weigh, count, and prepare items, and keep accurate records while coordinating with the team to meet daily dispatch deadlines.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, good communication, and a team mindset. A high school diploma and a valid Texas driver’s license are required, with 6 months of shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Competenze

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid TX Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
• A minimum of six months shipping and receiving experience, preferably in a parts department.
• Knowledge of automotive parts; basic mathematical principles; ability to read/interpret English instructions.

Mansioni

• Counts, weighs, or measures items in incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records.
• Unloads or unpacks incoming shipments or prepares materials for display, distribution, outgoing shipment, or storage.
• Fills orders for products, following order tickets and forwarding items.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Replenishes assigned inventory.
• Works with the parts runners to ensure tires are stocked properly.
• Sends package tracking numbers to guests via our software.
• Pulls and delivers parts to technicians when necessary.
• Picks up parts from other dealers and vendors when necessary.
• Helps the Service Department move cars when necessary.
• Performs other administrative functions as directed by management.
• Keeps counter areas clean and uncluttered.
• Assists in all other areas of the parts department, as needed.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
