Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking a Junior Quality Control Technician for the on-site overnight shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Tue-Sat). You will test materials and finished products, monitor production processes, and help identify quality concerns before products reach our customers.

You will receive training on testing equipment and perform required calculations and basic statistics. 1–3 years QC experience and SAP/Excel proficiency are expected, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Control Technician in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SAP or a similar system and Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Test and verify product quality across packaging materials, raw materials, and finished products.
• Evaluate results against specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete plant certificates of analysis and ensure products meet requirements before release.
• Audit producing plants to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and production.
• Report and troubleshoot process deviations and defects in finished goods.
• Investigate customer complaints and support corrective actions through closure.
• Implement and monitor quality measurement methods.
• Maintain quality records, databases, and reports.
• Ensure calibration due dates for testing equipment and maintain a safe workplace.
