Job description

We are a local family-owned and operated company in Rockville, MD seeking an individual to lead one of our online auction teams. This flexible, part-time position involves leading our teams in determining what items have enough value to auction, photographing, posting, and editing items on our online auction platform. Typical hours are 10 am - 3 pm, mostly weekdays, but some weekends. Number of hours vary from week to week with an average of 15-20 hours. Work at client locations throughout Montgomery County and NWDC. We specialize in downsizing, relocation services, and online auctions. Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Managing our online auction teams in determining what items have value in a home
  • Photographing and posting items for auction
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, who typically are already feeling overwhelmed with moving
  • Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers
  • And more, no 2 days or 2 projects are alike!

Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):

  • Experience with online auctions strongly or at least selling items online
  • Experience with estate sales
  • Understanding the value of items and liking to take pictures
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation
  • Must be able to stand, reach, and move/bend for long periods of time
  • Have a smartphone for scheduling, timekeeping & project management apps, and taking pictures and using the online auction app
