Job summary

ProSource Group, a general contractor delivering commercial interior projects across New York City, is seeking a Superintendent. The role reports to a Senior Superintendent and oversees day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining schedule, quality and safety.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial interiors, with healthcare interiors exposure preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations on commercial interior projects throughout NYC.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and site activities.
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or site issues.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site meetings and communicate progress to the Senior Superintendent and project team.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and required project documentation.
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness and organization.
• Manage punch-list completion and support final project handover.
