Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Stockpile Stewardship SME to support the U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This full-time on-site position requires a deep understanding of nuclear stewardship, with significant experience in DoD environments.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact on nuclear stockpile matters and liaising with key defense organizations. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, and TS/SCI clearance, with 25 years in the field.

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have and maintain TS/SCI level clearance
• 25 years of experience in the relevant discipline, 15 years of DoD experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Stockpile Stewardship SME and primary Government contact.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the U.S. nuclear stockpile.
• Liaise with DoD and non-DoD organizations.
• Review stockpile sustainment issues and recommend actions.
• Represent the Government in technical discussions.
