Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Network Engineer to support the IT Infrastructure & Operations team in Dulles, VA. The position is on-site with occasional travel to remote sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Cisco switching/routing, and is able to collaborate with customers to meet deployment timelines. Flexibility for after-hours work is required.

Qualifications

• 2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors or Masters.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Experience with Cisco hardware and setting up switched networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients, respond to requests promptly and resolve network issues.
• Proficient knowledge with Cisco routers and switches.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP related protocols, Dynamic Routing Protocols, Switching technologies.
• Plans, designs, configures, and installs network hardware in support of customer requirements.
• Interface regularly with customers and manage installation timelines and deliverables.
