Job summary

Simplex in Austin, TX seeks a .NET developer to support an ongoing upgrade project. You must live in Austin or be easily commutable to downtown to be eligible for this on-site role.

The six-month contract will involve backend and middleware work, primarily with .NET Core/C# and SQL, with React on the front end. You’ll join a small engineering team to deliver secure, scalable solutions and gain exposure to inter-government portal upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience with back-end development and middleware
• 3+ years with .NET Core/C# and MVC patterns
• SQL database experience and query optimization

Responsibilities

• Develop and upgrade backend services in a .NET environment
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to deliver middleware-focused features
• Work on-site in downtown Austin for the duration of the contract
• Contribute across the stack, including frontend where applicable (React)
