Job summary

Acuren is seeking Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technicians to support operations in Borger, TX and Sunray, TX. The role is on-site with a strong emphasis on safety and quality control within NDT methods. Candidates living nearby will be given preference due to on-site requirements.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, interpreting results, and reporting findings. A certified Level II with radiation safety training is expected, with TWIC eligibility beneficial for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred for advancement.
• Certified Level II (classroom and on the job) required or in progress.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures preferred.
• Ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and operation.
• Experience in report writing is required.
• Based in or near Borger, TX or Sunray, TX.
• Completion of 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training.
• Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
