Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks an experienced Risk Adjustment Coder, Auditor and Educator to lead HCC coding education across multiple West Palm Beach clinics. You will train providers and staff, analyze documentation gaps, and drive RAF score improvements.

The role requires expert coding knowledge and strong presentation skills to translate complex risk concepts into practical training for physicians and management in an on-site, multi-site setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering risk adjustment (HCC) coding education and training to primary care providers.
• Active coding credential required: CRC preferred; CPC, CCS, or equivalent considered.
• Demonstrated record of improving risk coding accuracy and optimization (RAF, HCC recapture, documentation improvement).
• Strong knowledge of CMS-HCC/HHS-HCC and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver risk adjustment coding education programs for PCPs, APPs, and staff across multiple sites.
• Conduct live and virtual training presentations and one-on-one sessions on accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with physicians and site management to identify gaps and tailor content per site needs.
• Perform chart reviews/audits to identify trends and inform targeted education.
• Conduct HEDIS chart reviews and quality measure abstraction to address gaps.
• Support integration of risk adjustment and HEDIS workflows and communicate findings to providers.
• Interpret payor reports and translate into targeted provider education plans.
• Liaise with health plan/payor partners to improve coding performance.
• Review charts and validate diagnosis accuracy prior to claims submission.
