Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a hands-on Structural Engineer to own the modular data-center line in Phoenix, AZ. You will drive end-to-end structural work from released drawings through rate production, working directly on the shop floor and coordinating with design to fix issues in real time.

Ideal candidates have experience on fabrication lines, a strong eye for clean drawings, and a track record of supporting rapid production launches.

Qualifications

• Engineered structures for modular construction or heavy fabrication on the shop floor.
• Experience on a fabrication line and on-the-spot dispositioning of issues.
• Drawings that build clean; fix drawings rather than excuses.
• Supported production launches and stayed with early units.
• Iterate quickly while maintaining configuration control.
• Bonus: PE license, steel and sheet metal design, welding/DFM tips.

Responsibilities

• Own the structural systems on the line from drawings to rate production.
• Walk the Phoenix manufacturing line daily; catch fit-up and weld issues and disposition them on the spot.
• Run structural support for factory in real time; answer RFIs same-day.
• Conduct first-article reviews and fit checks; document findings to drive drawings.
• Close loop to design; feed learnings back into drawings, tolerances and BOM.
