Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is seeking a Project Manager to support mission operations at Kirtland AFB, NM. You will plan, direct, and oversee contract performance, manage staffing, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and subcontractor coordination, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

This role interfaces with the customer and corporate leadership, resolving operational issues and driving on-schedule delivery while maintaining safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 8 years of experience including 3 years leading technical or mission-support teams
• Required TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day activities for a moderately complex Technical or non-Technical project.
• Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
• Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
• Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
• May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
• Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
