Job summary

SilverBack is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to oversee site execution for major industrial and data center projects in the Kansas City area. You will lead mechanical and electrical installations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality from early planning through commissioning.

This role requires strong knowledge of HVAC, switchgear, piping, and controls, with OSHA 30 preferred. Procore, BIM 360, and MS Project experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

Proven MEP construction management on large-scale developments.
Full project lifecycle experience—from planning to commissioning.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades.
Experience with safety standards and OSHA training.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations and installation quality for all MEP systems.
Coordinate with subcontractors and resolve field conflicts in the shop.
Review submittals, RFIs, design packages, and change orders to meet specs and timelines.
Coordinate pre-commissioning activities and testing phases (L1–L5).
Maintain site documentation using construction management software.
