Responsibilities

• Maintains professional image and customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Recognizes health needs of the patient population and age groups served.
• Maintains hygiene and cleanliness of patients, environment, and unit.
• Promotes comfort and safety for patients and visitors.
• Collects and records patient data during direct care tasks.
• Assists with transport and courier duties as directed.
• Keeps patient records confidential and discusses matters discretely.
• Performs standard room checks and inventories (gloves, needle boxes, call lights).
