Job summary

Teleflex Incorporated is seeking a Test Engineering Co-op in Morrisville, NC for January–May 2027. You will assist the Engineering and Test teams on development, testing, and administrative needs within the Acute Care unit.

The role reports to a Test Engineer and involves collaboration with R&D, labs, and design teams, with NDA-compliant project work and a strong emphasis on data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a two/four-year degree in mechanical, biomedical, or related engineering field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• One year of medical device or related design experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform R&D and Test Engineering daily functions to support the Acute Care BU under the Test Engineering team.
• Develop and execute test methods, protocols, and fixtures for product development, verification, and validation.
• Conduct lab feasibility and verification testing on acute care products.
• Collaborate to define, develop, and validate new/modified test methods and TMVs.
• Assist in developing equipment specs and procuring test equipment; create installation protocols and test procedures.
• Write reports and presentations on work completed; analyze data with Excel or Minitab.
