Austin Industrial seeks a Mechanical Foreman to supervise and coordinate workers on on-site construction projects in Plaquemine, LA. You will schedule work, manage costs, and coordinate with inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient execution of pipe systems and related equipment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in industrial supervisory roles, NCCER credentials, a TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Industrial and Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with FRP/industrial piping is desirable.
• NCCER certification and TWIC card are beneficial.”

Responsabilités

• Review contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, and schematics to determine work scope and manpower needs.
• Monitor daily labor costs and productivity; take corrective action to meet budgets.
• Provide detailed daily plans and look-ahead schedules to keep work on track.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure plan, specs and schedules are followed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
