LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for the 1st shift at our on-site facility in Streetsboro, OH. The role focuses on assembling fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and enclosures with attention to detail and mechanical skills.

The ideal candidate will read assembly drawings, use hand tools and crimpers, and follow torque specifications while maintaining quality standards. High school diploma or GED is required, with preference for technical schooling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade schooling is a plus.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and follow directions.
• Experience using hand tools and wire crimpers in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 3D models to understand assembly process.
• Use basic hand tools to assemble cabinet components and sub-assemblies.
• Install flexibar and power cables as required by design.
• Understand torque drawings and apply specifications correctly.
• Inspect parts, materials and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Report quality issues to supervisors and document findings with supervision.
• Be adaptable as work content evolves.
