Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for 1st shift on-site in Aurora, OH. You will assemble fabrications, subassemblies, and enclosures with attention to detail, reading drawings and using hand tools to build cabinet components and install wiring.

A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to document progress are required. High school diploma or GED is required, with preferred technical schooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or transferable mechanical experience.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and follow direction.
• Proficient with hand tools and wire crimpers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 3D models to understand assembly process and basic computer skills.
• Use basic hand tools to assemble cabinet components.
• Install flexibar and power cables as required by product design.
• Understand torque drawings and apply them properly.
• Inspect parts, materials and assemblies to quality standards.
• Report quality issues to supervisors and leads.
• Document communications with supervision as required.
• Be dynamic and flexible as work content evolves.
