Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use a forklift and clamp truck to move freight, stock, or materials as required.
• Move items to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or label them with information.
• Read orders or instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Record units handled or moved on daily production sheets.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Assemble product containers or crates with hand tools and precut lumber.
• Carry tools and supplies from storage or trucks and return after use.
