Job summary

Terumo Cardiovascular Group in Elkton, MD, is seeking a maintenance technician to keep manufacturing equipment in good working order, repair electrical, mechanical, and software-controlled systems, and assist with installing new equipment.

Requires a high school diploma or a two-year technical degree with manufacturing experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office; and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on-site, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing.
• A two-year technical degree or certificate and a minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.
• Programmable logic circuit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disposes of production area hazardous waste.
• Maintains/loads/order some equipment parts and production supplies.
• Coordinates and monitors cleaning of the clean room areas.
• Keep supervisor informed of production issues.
• Assist with project work, major repairs, and implement electronic improvement plan.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
