Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to drive Make, Buy and BOM planning, maintain production system integrity and optimize inventory. You will coordinate material flow and shop-floor control, collaborating with procurement, operations, and engineering.

The ideal candidate has experience in MRP planning, SAP/MRP, lean manufacturing knowledge, and strong analytical skills. This full-time on-site role requires US citizenship and interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Very good organization and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of MMAS
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance after accepting an offer and before starting the role.
• Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) SAP Experience

Responsibilities

• Execute Make, Buy, and BOM planning within MRP transactions.
• Maintain production system integrity and optimize inventory levels.
• Coordinate material flow and shop-floor control to meet schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and engineering to align plans.
• Manage MRP parameters, lead times, lot sizes, and BOM changes.
