Job summary

Crye Precision LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, test, and build the manufacturing solutions behind our tactical apparel and gear. This on-site role at our Brooklyn Navy Yard headquarters blends hands-on engineering, process development, and analytical problem solving, with ownership of fixtures, automation, and production lines.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to translate design intent into efficient manufacturing processes, using SolidWorks for part and fixture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing, process, or automation engineering experience.
• Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks and 2D CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to manufacturing of apparel and gear.
• Design assemblies and manufacturing drawings using GD&T.
• Analyze assembly sequences, write work instructions, and measure metrics.
• Design, build, and test fixtures; program sewing systems and processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to source parts and equipment.
