Island Palm Communities is seeking a Special Projects Associate to perform maintenance across residential and commercial spaces at Schofield Barracks, HI. The role covers building structures, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, with emphasis on safe, customer-friendly service.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. A valid driver’s license and basic trade competencies are essential for success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic competency in carpentry, plumbing or electrical trades.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must read, write, and speak English to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and complete work orders for property maintenance.
• Perform maintenance on rental units, offices, grounds, and common areas.
• Repair or replace lighting, roofs, heating/air systems, flooring and appliances as needed.
• Transport, install, and connect appliances and equipment.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment inventory as required.
