WinnCompanies is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for Fort Greely, AK. The role involves maintaining rental units, offices and grounds at a federal facility, ensuring safety and delivering quality service.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, completing repairs, installing appliances, transporting equipment, and keeping accurate paperwork and records. A valid driver’s license and on-site work ability are required. 1–3 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Current driver’s license in good standing.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring or appliances.
• Ability to provide basic tools.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to complete maintenance work.
• Perform repairs as directed by supervisor or management.
• Install, transport and connect stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances.
• Transport equipment, furnishings and materials to job sites.
• Repair and fabricate window/door screens and frames.
• Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.
• Update work orders with time, materials, and notes on mobile devices.
