Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking 3 experienced Maintenance Technicians to support automated manufacturing operations in Auburn Hills, Michigan. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve automated production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer-controlled systems, plus strong diagnostic skills and adherence to safety protocols during maintenance

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Experience with electrical systems (480V, 120V, 24V).
Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems.
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Experience in automotive production or high-volume manufacturing.
Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled equipment.
Experience with Rockwell PLC logic.
Ability to use diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
Forklift experience or licence.
Technical certificate or associate degree in Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or related field.
Journeyman's card.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing equipment and systems.
Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and repair equipment malfunctions.
Maintain, install, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
Dismantle machinery and equipment to access, repair, or replace defective components.
Repair or replace worn or defective machine parts.
Lubricate, clean, adjust, and maintain equipment as required.
Test machinery and equipment after repairs to verify proper operation.
Support production teams with equipment troubleshooting and downtime reduction.
Assist with the startup, commissioning, and validation of new or modified equipment.
Make approved equipment modifications to support production requirements.
Set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, and other metalworking tools to manufacture or repair parts.
Install new machinery and equipment as directed.
Fabricate approved fixtures for production use.
Follow OSHA, plant safety, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times.
