Job summary

TND C?TNDC (Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation) is seeking a Maintenance III to oversee daily maintenance, staff supervision, and facility upkeep at 165 Turk Street, San Francisco. You will manage work orders, ensure safety compliance, and support residents and staff with timely repairs.

Required are leadership experience in maintenance, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and a commitment to serving a low-income, diverse community.

Qualifications

• Six months of residential housing maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Knowledge of residential property management and housing quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse population.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and read maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Directly hire, supervise and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Respond to daily work orders including plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks.
• Paint, patch walls and perform drywall/Sheetrock repairs.
• Inspect units during pest control; maintain fire life safety records.
• Establish and follow preventive maintenance schedules and respond to emergencies after hours.
