Job summary

Family Solutions Counseling Center is actively seeking a licensed LPC or LCSW to provide behavioral health assessments and counseling to detainees at Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, TX. This full-time, on-site role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed as either a Licensed Professional Counselor or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas.
• Masters degree in accredited clinical mental health, counseling, social work or equivalent.
• 2 years of behavioral health treatment experience preferred, correctional setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide standardized assessments and mental health counseling to detainees.
• Collaborate with psychiatric and correctional staff to coordinate care.
• Document progress, assessments, and discharge summaries within policy and timelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA/HiTECH/CFR 42 requirements.
• Be available for rotating weekend on-call and prepare monthly productivity reports.
