Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Installation Technician to support a client in the Fort Myers, FL area. You will be on-site at the client location and assist with the installation and setup of low-voltage infrastructure and equipment for ongoing projects.

This role requires experience with cabling systems and basic electrical environments. Responsibilities include running cables, terminating network and equipment cabling, and verifying proper power and connectivity.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• Experience with low-voltage systems.
• Ability to route and run cable.
• Experience with Cat5 networking.

Responsibilities

• Run, route, and secure low-voltage cabling in commercial/industrial environments.
• Install and terminate network, communication, and equipment cabling as required.
• Connect and configure equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Verify power and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues.
• Follow project drawings, installation standards, and safety procedures.
• Assist with testing, labeling, and documenting installed systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized client-site work area.
• Collaborate with project teams to complete installations on schedule.
