Job summary

You will troubleshoot cabling issues, perform quality checks, document all work, and coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades.

Qualifications

• Experience installing low-voltage cabling for voice, data, and security systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Safe handling of hand and power tools; follow NEC standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients on-site.
• Document work performed and materials used.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Capable of lifting and carrying equipment; able to work at various sites.
• Familiarity with access control or video surveillance beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for voice, data, access control, and video systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and floor plans on site.
• Pull and route cable, mount equipment, and secure components per plan.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot cabling issues.
• Complete documentation of installed systems and materials used.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain tools and equipment and adhere to project schedules.
• Provide professional customer service during installations and service calls.
