Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a Logistics/Maintenance Helper focused on battery changing and assisting mechanics. You will support daily repairs, equipment maintenance, parts runs, and safety-compliant tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver's license, and demonstrate time management, willingness to learn new tools, and the ability to multitask across shifts, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/interpret documents
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
• Willingness to continue education as necessary
• Strong time management skills
• Ability/willingness to learn to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: hand truck, hand and power pallet jack, power lift equipment (company will train)
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to customers, clients, and / or associates in the organization
• Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
• Ability to work a variety of shifts which may include weekends and overtime
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to write routine reports/correspondence

Responsibilities

• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Review repair log and prepares jobs
• Assist mechanics with repairs to equipment
• Conduct parts runs
• Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
