Job summary

Reeves & Brightwell LLP in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of complex commercial litigation, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and appellate matters.

You will assist with trial preparation, manage document systems, and draft pleadings and routine correspondence, while coordinating with witnesses and handling FOIA inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Civil Rules of Procedure (state and federal).
• Advanced knowledge of the litigation process, E-Discovery, and review platforms.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification with 3+ years in litigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in trial prep, discovery, and appeals.
• Organize documents and exhibits for trials and depositions.
• Manage document databases and filing systems.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices, and routine correspondence.
• Interface with witnesses and conduct investigations including FOIA.
• Ensure compliance with local court rules and deadlines.
• Overtime as needed.
