Job summary

Adecco is seeking a hands-on Production & Fulfillment Technician to support assembly, testing, configuration, packaging, and shipping of lighting products. You’ll move between production, quality control, sample handling, and warehouse duties in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work full-time on-site in Itasca, IL. Regular hours and a competitive hourly wage reflect experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for assembly and testing tasks.
• Comfort using hand tools, basic power tools, measuring tools, and packaging materials.
• Basic computer comfort for documentation and labeling tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to support across departments in a small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble lighting products and components per work instructions and drawings.
• Configure product IP settings and basic network-enabled device setup.
• Perform sample product check-in and ensure proper labeling and routing.
• Conduct basic quality testing and report defects or concerns.
• Support contract manufacturing tasks including packing, staging, and shipping.
