Job summary

ZELUS is seeking a Reality Capture Technician to perform on-site LiDAR scanning at client sites, mainly in Santa Teresa, NM. You will operate Leica-based scanners, register scans, and ensure accurate data for BIM/VDC models.

The role emphasizes client-facing professionalism and on-site problem-solving, with training provided as needed. Ideal candidates have LiDAR experience, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to travel for training or site support.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail to ensure high data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot on-site.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-precision LiDAR scans of client sites with data accuracy.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain scanning equipment (RTC Leica or similar).
• Perform reality capture registration and ensure high-quality processing of data.
• Input scans into company systems for modeling and analysis; verify data integrity.
