Job summary

McCormack Baron is seeking a full-time Leasing Agent in Memphis to support the Property Manager with leasing and administrative duties, including showing apartments and processing applications.

You will conduct resident orientation, help secure renewals, and input data into Yardi. Strong communication, sales skills, and computer proficiency are essential.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and a customer-focused, energetic approach.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; some college preferred.
• Experience in property management is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Enthusiastic, sales oriented, and people-friendly.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with leasing and administrative functions.
• Prepare move-in files, take applications, greet, qualify, and show apartments to prospective residents.
• Provide resident satisfaction and pursue lease renewals.
• Process applications and input information into Yardi.
• Process annual recertifications and lease renewals; conduct resident orientation.
• Prepare and follow-up on maintenance work orders.
• All other duties as assigned.
