Job summary

Chart, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to lead the ACHES shop across three Tulsa locations. The role drives safety, quality, delivery, and cost excellence while partnering with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and HR to meet production goals.

This position manages staffing, scheduling, and performance, using Lean methods to increase throughput and reduce waste. A strong focus on coaching, KPIs, and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in manufacturing operations; 3+ years leading a production area in fabrication/assembly.
• Lean/CI experience with measurable improvement events.
• Technical knowledge of fabrication/assembly processes (sheet metal, welding, machining, testing).
• Strong coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills.
• Proficient with Excel/Sheets and ERP/MES systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle, Epicor).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for the ACHES shop: staffing, floor coverage, production scheduling and on-time delivery.
• Achieve direct operating expense targets and manage a profitable operation by minimizing manufacturing variances.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with EHS and regulatory standards; lead safety huddles and investigations.
• Maintain standard work and visual management; ensure operators are trained.
• Track and report KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People).
• Partner with Planning/Supply Chain to ensure material availability and communicate capacity constraints.
• Lead root cause investigations for defects, delays, and downtime; drive corrective actions.
• Develop and train supervisors and coordinators.
