Job summary

Alpha is hiring Learning Coaches to guide K-3 students through life-skills workshops and individualized coaching. You will use adaptive technology to support academics and focus on confidence, resilience, and communication.

You will lead one cohort, run one-hour workshops, and coach students in small groups to help them reach ambitious weekly goals. This on-site, full-time role offers meaningful, measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, or similar environments.
• Experience leading group activities for young children with concrete structure to keep groups engaged.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students to master communication, focus, and feedback.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life-skill mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass framework until real understanding is shown.
• Adapt coaching style to developmental needs of the cohort with storytelling and movement when needed.
• Build relationships that foster confidence and stretch students beyond initial expectations.
