Job summary

MTSI in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Software Test Engineer (Journeyman) to operate the PATRIOT Tactical System and the IBCS Engagement Operations Center, developing and executing test cases for Verify and Validate a suite of applications including Flight Mission Simulator / Digital (FMS/D), Integrated Radar on the Net (IRON), Launcher on The Net (LOTN), and the LOTN complement L2.

This is an on-site role at Redstone Arsenal.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, software development, or related discipline from an Accredited College.
• 5+ years of software test experience.
• Experience with Linux and C/C++ engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate PATRIOT Tactical System and IBCS Engagement Operations Center.
• Develop and execute test cases for Verify and Validate a suite of applications (FMS/D, IRON, LOTN, LOTN L2).
• Utilize GitLab DEVSECOPS workflows and Linux environments during testing.
• Provide on-site support in a closed environment at Redstone Arsenal.

Skills

Strong Linux domain knowledge

Strong software test experience

Exposure to C/C++ engineering apps

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, software development, or related discipline from an Accredited College
