Job summary

We Power America in Topeka, KS is hiring full-time, on-site electricians for commercial and industrial projects. We are especially seeking journey level and supervisory level workers for high-profile tasks.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, read blueprints, upgrade systems, and ensure compliance with safety codes and lockout/tagout procedures while collaborating with engineers and other contractors.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or supervisory level experience in electrical construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Willingness to work overtime and on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using a range of tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Upgrade and modify electrical systems to meet new requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and team members to meet deadlines.
• Provide preventive maintenance and on-call emergency support.
