Job summary

We Power America in Wichita, KS is seeking experienced electricians for commercial and industrial projects. Foreman and supervisory roles are needed, with opportunities on high-profile projects and overtime. All positions include paid health insurance, retirement, and benefits paid by the employer.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, reading blueprints, and collaborating with engineers to complete tasks on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as a journeyman electrician in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using a range of tools and techniques.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
• Read blueprints and interpret drawings to plan installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade existing systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow strict safety protocols including lockout/tagout.
• Collaborate with other contractors, engineers, and team members.
